Problems With Serial Numbers Not Working

When you purchase a digital download game through Macgamestore.com, you are emailed a serial number to unlock the game. In some cases, you only need to download the full version of the game, which does not require a serial number. But the majority of products do require you to input your name and serial number.

So you got your serial number for a product and are having problems with it? If it says it is an invalid serial number, then you likely entered it incorrectly. Most serial numbers are tied specifically to the name you used when you bought the game. So, for example, if you get a registration that looks like this:

Name: John Doe
Serial Number: PEGX-XVUT-SBSS-ZXWV

you have to enter the name EXACTLY as it appears above. For example, for the last name, you have to put capital D, lower case o, then capital E.

The best thing to do is to copy and paste the name and the serial number from the email directly into the registration program. MAKE SURE THAT AFTER YOU PASTE IN THE SERIAL NUMBER THAT THERE ARE NO SPACES AT THE END OF YOUR PASTE! This is a common mistake people make.

One other note. You absolutely must make sure you are trying to register the Macgamestore.com version of the game you bought! There are many web sites that sell the same products. So if you downloaded the game from a different web site but bought a serial number from us, then the serial number won't work. Make sure you download the game from our web site (the download link is provided in the email you received)! Look for the Macgamestore or Mac Games Arcade logo when you run the game. If it says Big Fish Games, Gamehouse.com, or any other web site, then you didn't download the game from our web site.
